Shamrock Capital Advisors’ real estate practice manages the $85 million Genesis L.A. Real Estate Fund, the $104 million Genesis Real Estate Fund II and the $100 million Shamrock-Hostmark Hotel Fund. The Genesis Funds provide debt and equity for real estate projects that receive positive CRA consideration and result in meaningful economic development for Southern California’s low and moderate income communities. The Genesis Funds can invest in projects ranging from $10 million to $200 million. The Shamrock-Hostmark Hotel Fund provides equity for full-service and limited service hotels in primarily urban markets.

Daniel Beaney, Managing Director
- Joined Shamrock in June 1999 and was named a Managing Director in July 2006
- Responsible for originating, underwriting, and structuring and managing Genesis Fund investments. Has also had management responsibility for several other Shamrock real estate investments
- Prior to joining Shamrock, worked for the Kaufman & Broad Multi-Housing Group, where he was responsible for identifying acquisition and development opportunities throughout California
- Graduate of University of California Los Angeles. M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management

- Over 12 years of real estate experience; joined Shamrock in 2004
- Responsible for origination, underwriting and due diligence of Genesis Fund investments
